Nokia Officially Releases G21, 90Hz LCD with 5,050MaH Battery

 

After the rumoured specs, HMD Global has officially launched a budget device G21 a successor to G20. This device is of course not without premium features as it was claimed to be a budget device. 

The phones came with a 6.5inch LCD720+ front resolution and up to 90Hz refresh rate. 4Gb of Ram with 64/128 storage, Unisoc T606 processor and it is housed with 5,050mah battery.The G21 feature 3 rear cameras 50MP camera sensor 2mp macro and a 2mp depth sensor. It supports fast-charging up to 18W.

Display and Design 

The G21 came with a 6.5inch display with an LCD. The front camera records up to 720p with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Nokia has optimized this device to conserve battery as that drops the refresh rate to 60Hz. The Nokia G21 happens to be the first Nokia budget device that can stream Netflix in HD 

Processor and memory 

The Nokia G21 uses the Unisoc T606 and its GPU Mali G57 MP1 which is a 12nm node process-based octa-core chipset that comes with two cortex-A75 and six A55 cores. The devices also come with 4GB of Ram and 64/128GB onboard storage with microSD support. 


Camera 

The Nokia G21 features a 50mp Al primary rear camera, 2mp macro camera and 2mp depth camera. The camera came with lots of improvements like the super-resolution mode that captures the details of the captured image, also with an improved night mode. 

Battery and Charging 

The Nokia G21 house a whopping 5,050Mah battery capacity. The company claims this battery capacity can hold a full charge in 3days. The Nokia G21 now supports USB PD 3.0 compatibility meaning it can charge up to 18W. Although, what was announced in the box by Nokia is a 10W charger. You may spend a little extra on an 18W supporting charger 

Software and connectivity 

The phone supports only 4G without 5G, The Nokia G21 

runs on Android 11, Nokia says it will provide two Android Os updates Android 12 and 13 with a three years security patch. As well the G21 will come with Spotify and ExpressVPN(30days free trial)
